Built on a Legacy of Affirmative Prayer

At Unity Spiritual Center of Central Minnesota, affirmative prayer is at the center of our spiritual life. It is how we connect, grow, and experience the divine presence within us. Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, we are here to walk alongside you.

A central part of our practice is affirmative prayer. This is a form of prayer that focuses on spiritual truth rather than problems or conditions. Instead of asking for an outcome, affirmative prayer affirms the presence of divine wisdom, love, and possibility already at work in our lives.

Unity was founded on prayer in the late 1800s. Unity co-founder Myrtle Fillmore began a healing ministry that was grounded in affirmative prayer. That legacy continues today in Unity communities around the world, including right here in our spiritual center.

Our Unity Prayer Partners are trained volunteers. They practice the sacred art of holding prayerful space and offering affirmative prayer. Prayer partners are here to support you in many ways like praying for submitted prayer requests, one-on-one prayer in person, connecting by email, and holding our entire community in silent, loving support.

Request Prayer

Our Prayer Partners will lovingly hold your affirmation (prayer request) for 30 days. Every request is kept in absolute confidence. Prayer request cards are available at our center or you can request prayer via email. Because we honor your privacy and confidentiality, we won't contact you unless you request that we do so.
